Jedrzej Nyka - Week 0

 Hello,

My name is Jedrzej. Looking forward to the start of the course. I'm based in Poland, so the classes will be from 9pm for me, but I should be here for each one of them!

I'm posting a few images of my work, as per the introduction email.

For context, I'm a freelance illustrator and most of my work is illustrated maps. I would like to develop my painting skills across the board but with emphasis on anatomy and environment - I really quite struggle with those and I feel like it's hindering my work in general. 

The first image is from a series I'm working on at the moment, I'm aiming to make around 10 bird posters. 

The second image is from another personal project (illustrated chapters from the Hyperion Cantos by Dan Simmons), and I do quite like the image, however you can see my issue with anatomy - I'm missing something and I'm not sure what that is.

The below are examples of recent illustrated maps. Although I'm a bit more confident here, I'm sure I can improve, so I'm including these also because this type of work is central to my freelance work at the moment.
