I just checked over your thumbnails and they're looking pretty solid. I think the bottom left with the soldier and helicopter are the most clear. I think you can definitely get some cool lighting effects by keeping it as a night scene and potentially using some sort of gunfire from the helicopters to light things up with a yellow/orange glow. You could also add things like bullets that are passing by the helicopters to show some action as well. Those would be my suggestions, but ultimately, pick the one you're most happy with!
